Spread the love This week I had the pleasure of getting out of my office and away from the writing desk to dispense my wisdom on television. Denver 9News reporter Melissa Blasius contacted me to help her develop a story about online dating scams. Here is the video if you want to check it out! These people are everywhere, infiltrating online dating sites and other social media sites such as Facebook. Online dating scammers will go after anyone, male or female. They also target people who are divorced, widowed, or single parents… people who may be lonely and vulnerable to the affections of an attractive stranger. Long distance relationships are hard enough when someone lives in the next state over… developing a romance with someone 10 time zones away is pretty unrealistic. Online scammers will flatter the shit out of you.
You can chat and watch live women via their web cam. Pay to watch web cam models strip down in front of you live on their web cam directly from their bed room. This is a pay service, not free.
Source and india, online dating scam and many other west african countries; you in popularity, two countries including ghana dating sites, you suspect. Ik messenger is col john nicholson is an african singles seeking love goes wrong.
For others, however, it can be a life-ruining decision — leaving us penniless, heartbroken and with many more problems heading our way. The only way to avoid an online romance scam is to be aware of their occurrences and also to know how to spot them before they begin. When you start talking to someone on the internet, pay particular attention to the messages that they are sending. Are the messages answering the questions that you are asking or are they just generic messages that could be sent to anyone with just one minor change for each — the name?
Prolific romance scam artists will generally use the same messages for everyone that they are trying to lure in as victims so if the messages are too general for your liking, back away as fast as you can. They are so generic that you can often find much of what they write by searching on Google.
Nigerian Romance Scams
A new study has raised concern, as more children are talking to and meeting people they meet online, with dangerous consequences. When Morrison suggested that her suitor put his daughter on a plane to get better medical attention at home — and even offered to pick the girl up at the airport — a new crisis struck. By then, Morrison knew she was dealing with a scammer. Though the amounts and details of the scam vary from victim to victim, when it comes to romance scams, the con is almost always the same: The crook wants to get a besotted victim to wire money or provide access to a credit card.
If the victim doesn’t figure out the con after the first request for cash, the crook will keep milking the relationship for as much as he or she can get.

Ghana Scams Dating websites are very popular however Ghana scams are increasing due to the anonymity of the site allowing criminals in Ghana to take advantage of unsuspecting singles by forging fraudulent relationships and attempting to get money out of them. The majority of people who start an online relationship with a Ghanaian originally think they are corresponding with someone in the United States.
You will meet Ghanaians on all of the major dating websites and many of the more specialized chat rooms. Only after a relationship is formed does the correspondent advise that they are from Ghana. Relationships can last anywhere from months before the Ghanaian correspondents will ask you for money. There are several generic stories that are used: Regardless of the reason for the request, people are usually so involved in the relationship that they send money on the first request.
At this point, relationships have usually advanced from email to phone calls.

The police man assigned to protect me from the others is now one of my best friends and thought enough of me after all the crap I brought to their door step to introduce me to a woman that is a cousin of his wifes and we are now dating. What I should have done in the first place is go to Ghana on vacation and let it be known I was interested in a girlfriend and the whole country would have offered me their sisters.
It would have been cheaper As it is I know all of the immigration officers and all of the police at the airport police station and there are no dishonest immigration officials or dishonest police investigators It is easy for people to get fake IDs and with your money. The arrested man had bought a car with my money and the reduced his sentince if he signed it over to me and I agreed after the uncle pleaded with me to show mercy.
They released the man and is currently being watched to see if he will lead them to the rest of the gang and this the Ghana FBI is sure that there are others involved and experince has taught them its Nigerian men they have open borders and they cant keep them out of Ghana. I was told that at least 2 men getting off every plane that lands is being scamed This story is free to you but it cost me 25, so take it for what it is worth.
1. Nigerian/ Ghana Emergency Scam. This is one of the most popular scams in online dating. Nigeria and Ghana are notorious for their scammers and hence most people probably wouldn’t pursue a relationship with someone from one of these countries.
The Nigerian dating scams target the lonely and vulnerable. The most common comment of victims who think they have found the love of their life is “I can’t believe I was so stupid! The Nigerian dating scams are hugely profitable. The Nigerians call them ‘maghas’ which is slang for gullible white people. The scammers spend their day trolling the dating sites and chat rooms for contact emails, and then send off thousands of fraudulent letters and emails awaiting the victim’s replies.
They are offering the chance of finding true love and happiness, and there are plenty of takers!

Jane, who was a victim of an internet dating scam. Joe Armao Most weeks, I take my laptop to a local cafe to work. Most weeks, a raucous group of older men and women sits on the table beside me. At the centre of this group, with the loudest laugh, is a lady in her late 60swith twinkly blue eyes and a cheeky sense of humour, who wants to be known in this story as Jane Russell, after the Hollywood starlet.
When once I replied that I was writing a profile — the story of someone’s life, Jane turned serious and said, “One day I’ll tell you my life story and you can put it in the paper.
Usually most of the scams are the saikawa boys organized crime circuit with computers faking dating scams most of the pictures of the women are all fake. The sakawa boys days are numbered as Europe and America are getting tired of there scams it’s hurting the relations with Ghana and Nigeria.
Nobody wants to be scammed yet most people are not quite sure what to look out for. These are examples of some of the most notorious scams in the world of online dating and on the internet in general. Armed with their fake identity, the scammer proceeds to forge a bond with you. They often communicate with you for weeks and months so you think you are getting to know them better while it is actually all part of their master plan.
The standard scam story then starts to unfold as your online date suddenly has some sort of emergency in Nigeria or Ghana. The stories may range from a businessman having an accident while in Nigeria for work to a helpless woman being stranded in Ghana; from asking for charity donations for Africa to a family member having a brain hemorrhage while in Africa.
Generally dark-skinned and dark-eyed- the African girls can win you over with their beautiful smiles. Although in some parts of Africa there are still traditional barriers that a woman is bound to follow, there are also big cities and open minded communities where the African women very much like to meet and fall in love with the men who are not from Africa, especially with the men from the western world. Another very serious issue of dating the girls of Africa is choosing the exact country of which you want your partner from.
As Africa is actually a continent, not a country, the choices can be endless. The girls of each country are different from each other, their thoughts, attributes are definitely different from each others. Prior to dating, you should keep in mind these different factors.
Impostor scams can flourish wherever the Internet exists (Eastern Europe and Russia are also hot spots), but most dating fraud originates in Nigeria and Ghana, or in countries such as Malaysia and the U.K., which have large communities of West African expatriates.
The photos she sent me matches the one that is currently posted on this website. Thanks for keeping the coast clear for us all.
Stephen USA Report N61 added on February, 18, Got email from Thai Cupid about Rose, age 31, went to website and looked at profile, was interested, she had sent me email with her email address and Skype name. Went back to website next day, she was gone. I had written down email address and Skype so I sent her an email and we connected on Skype and began a gushy conversation on chat line for 2 or3 days. I began to have suspicions as so much of her gushy conversation appeared to be scripted.
Asked her to get on webcam so I could match conversation with voice and picture. She had sent me several pics. In conversation she said her birthday was coming up and I said, oh, I will get you a surprise. She said she did not want a surprise just send money by western union for a computer with webcam so we could see each other. I tried all 3 money transfer firms and they refused. Donald USA Report N62 added on February, 25, Part of the love me scam – requested money for loss of internet connections and food.
